Low, fast, no reserve. Understand it first.
BASE is parachuting from fixed objects: Buildings, Antennas, Spans (bridges) and Earth (cliffs). Jumps start far lower than a skydive, so there's one parachute, no reserve and only seconds to open, and the object itself is a hazard if the canopy opens facing it. Studies put the fatality risk at roughly 60 to 90 times that of skydiving. It is taught only to experienced skydivers.

Object lab
Pick an object and a delay before throwing the pilot chute. See how much height the delay and the opening use, and how little is left. This is why BASE leaves no room for mistakes.
The opening itself used about 60 m. These are rough teaching numbers; real jumps are planned from measured heights with a mentor.
